Do you know the ROUND 1 where is in front of Tasaki market? As there is a ROUND 1 near the Kumamoto station, you'll be able to find easily. We can play various games and sports in there, and there are ROUND 1 not only Kumamoto but also other some prefecture. Also, many people are coming here on holiday. Also,as there are facilities for children which called Spo-cha, you can enjoy even though you came with your kids! The price for play is a little expensive, but here is good place. Kumamoto Zoo (By Yuuki)
Have you ever been to Kumamoto zoo? There is a Kumamoto zoo in Kumamoto city. When you go to there, you may utilize tram cars or buses. There are many precious animals in this zoo. Monkeys, giraffes, and hippopotamus and so on. In particular, many families come here when interesting events are held. My favorite an event is cosmos festival. This festival is held in every autumn, and flowerbeds of zoo are covered with colorful and pretty cosmoses. If you like cosmoses, please try to go to zoo in autumn. You'll be able to watch nice cosmoses! Also, I'll recommend to go to Kumamoto zoo if you've never been to there. You can watch many animals and beautiful flowers!

Green Land (by Manami)
Green Land is located in Arao City. It is a famous and popular theme park in Kumamoto. You can enjoy many rides there. If you love roller coasters, I recommend you to ride Milky Way. If you are brave, you should try to ride it by standing up. There are some other roller coasters that make you screem! I recommend Nio, Megaton, Viking and Spin Mouse! If you want to get scared, you should go to haunted houses! There are three haunted houses in Green Land. You can enjoy going there with your friends or your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Hot Springs in Tamana (by Manami)

Tamana is one of a famous hot springs in Kumamoto. There is a new hot spring facility called "Tsukasa no yu." In there, you can enjoy taking hot springs, eat various foods and get a massage. Many visitors take a walk in the city wearing yukata after taking hot springs. Foot bath is very popular. It is located in Ryuugaji Park. You can use there for free. Many people visit there every day.


Kikuchi Valley (By Manami)

If you like nature, you should go to Kikuchi Valley! You can take a walk along the river and enjoy the view. Air is so clear and you will feel relaxed. Water is very cool so you can enjoy playing with it in summer. You can enjoy to see colored leaves in fall. Leaves are red, orange, and yellow. They are very pretty. You can eat fresh yamame there.


Otachimisaki Park (By Manami)

Otachimisaki Park is located in Ashikita. It is the largest artificial beach in Kumamoto. You can go for a swim in summer. Beach is very large and seawater is beautiful. You can also enjoy hot spring there. The view from open-air bath is very beautiful. On sunny day, you can play at the park. You can enjoy riding kart, playing slide, lawn skiing, putter golf, tennis and fishing! I'm sure you can enjoy there with your friends and your family!

Kumamoto Castle (By Manami)

There is a castle in Kumamoto city. It was made by Kiyomasa Kato in 1607. It is one of the famous castles in Japan. A stone wall called Mushagaeshi is very famous too. Mushagaeshi means to repel from enemy during the Warring State Period. If you want to learn the history of Kumamoto Castle, you should go there! You can see armors, swords, and many things from that time. Next to the castle, there is a park called Ninomaru Park. In the spring, you can enjoy to see cherry blossoms. You can sit on the grass and eat luch! I'm sure you will love it! Many visitors from all over the world come here throughout the year.



Hot spring in Yamaga (By Yumi)

Yamaga city has many hot springs. Yamaga's hot springs is not so famous, but it is really nice. There are many kinds of hot springs and you can bathe in a hot spring,it is not expensive.

I think you will like those hot springs. There is also free hot spring, it it "Ashi-yu" which is bath for foot, you don't need take off your clothes, You'll enjoy with light heart. You don't need pay money. After that, you can walk around Yamaga city.



Yachiyoza(By Yumi)

Yachiyoza is located in Yamaga city, and it is playhouse. It was designated as a nationally important cultural property. It was build in 1910. so this building is very old. If you go there, you'll notice that is old and historical building. Sometimes you can see old play, modern music and so on. If you want to learn about this building's history more, You can join tour, I think it is good idea! This building is really interesting and you'll find good old shop outside.



Yamaga Tourou(By Yumi)

Every August 15th, "Tourou" festival is held. "Tourou" festival is very famous in Japan, so many visitor come to see it. Woman put on "Yukata" and "Tourou" on their head. It is very beautiful and interesting. Of course, There are many interesing shops, and big exhibition of fire works. The festival was really an exciting time.



Mt. Aso(By Yumi)

Mt.Aso is located in south of Aso, Mt. Aso is really famous place in Kumamoto. Because, There are caldera, it is the biggest all over the world. The are much of nature and mountain, It is really beautiful and comfortable place. When you go to Mt.Aso, you will be able to find horses,a cows and other animals. You can ride on horse in there. I think if you go to there, you have to eat ice-cream cone. It is delicious, I recommend it. And there are many hot springs, there are many kinds of hot springs.


Kumamoto Hanshin (By Yuuki)

The Kumamoto hanshin is one of department in Kumamoto. There are two famous department in Kumamoto, and this department's mane changed from Iwataya to Kumamoto hanshin about five years ago. Sweets, Foods, clothes and books are selling in an each floor.As there are some gaming machines on the top floor, it may be interesting if you go to this department with little children.


Downtown in Kumamoto (By Yuuki)

Did you go to downtown in Kumamoto? The downtown in Kumamoto consists of two main street which called Simo street and Kami street. There are many kinds of shops in Simo street and many people are visiting every day. Of course, there are cloth shops in both streets. The prices of clothes are a little expensive, but you'll be able to find nice clothes for you! My favorite shop is PARCO where is in entrance of Simo street. Many kind of clothes and bags are selling there. If you are interested in fashion, please try to visit PARCO. It must be so interesting!
