Book review 2-15

I read " Anew Zealand Adventure".
Sarah and Jessica are going to New Zealand for a holiday. They are very excited. Jessica is near the window. 'Look!' she says, ' They 's Auckland! We're here!
'But we are late, Sara answers. "When's our bus?'
"At one o'clock7, Jessica says. "We can get a taxi from the airport to the bus station'
At the airport, the girl look for a taxi. ' Look!' Jessica says. ' That boy's waiting to us!
'Excuse me!' Are you late? ' the boy calls to them. ' Do you want this taxi?' the girls answer. 'To the bus station, Please 'Sarah says to the diver. She smiles at the bus and they drive away. The taxi stops at the bus station. Suddenly, Jessica sees a mobile phone on the taxi floor, ' Is that your mobile phone? ' She asks the driver. He looks at it. 'No, ' he answers. 'It's the boy's mobile.' Sarah takes it. 'Perhaps I can find his address', She says, Yes!
His name's Michael. Tomorrow he's at Ninety Mile beach. We can give it to him there.

The girls wait at Ninety Mile Beach. They eat and watch the buses. The buses aren't driving on a road-they are driving on the long beach.' Look for Michael!' Jessica says. But Sarah is looking at the sea. Suddenly, Jessica sees him. 'He's on that bus!' says.
She waves. Michael waves to her, but doesn't stop. The girl get on a bus. ' Can we catch him?' Jessica asks. 'I don't know', Sarah answers. ' i can't see his bus now'
Suddenly, they hear a beep. Sarah looks at the mobile. 'There is a message for Michael', she says.' perhaps we can find him tomorrow at the Sky Tower in Auckland'
Jessica and Sarah are very unhappy. They can't find Michael and they can't find Sarah's bag. Sarah has no money now. 'Sorry', Jessica says. ' But I have got some money -and we have got tickets for the Glow-worm Caves.'
'OK, Let's go there tomorrow', Sarah says. 'Michael is going too.We can look for him there.'
The girls go on a boat into the dark cave . The lights from the glow-worms are very beautiful and it is very quiet. Suddenly, there is beep from Michael's mobile. The lights go dark. The people in the boat are angry. 'No mobiles!' they say.
' We're very sorry', Sarah says. She sees a new message for Michael. 'Perhaps we can find him in Rotrua.'
Finally, They can find him. They are really happy!!

Book review 2- 14

This is the story of Hapu . He lives in Ancient Egypt at the time of Queen Cleopatra. His father, Bak, has a small factory. He makes gold tables and chairs. Hapu helps him. He is a ‘fireboy’. Every day he pushes a long handle up down. The work is hot and very hard.
But what can he and his father do? They are poor people. They need to make money.
Every evening they sit beside the Nile. Bal talks to his son about the factory, tomorrow’swork-everything. “one day we are going to be very rich,” he tells Hapu.” Are we?” The fireboy looks into his father’s tired eyes. “Yes”. Bak smiles. “I don’t know how and I don’t know when, but we are.” Then he stands up. “ Come on”, he says. “ It’s late. Let’s go home”. Three days lather Hape and Bak are making a table. It is very hot in the room. Suddenly Bak stops work. “ What is it, father?” Hapu asks. Is something wrong?
“ I don’t know,” Bak answers. He closes his eyes. Bak becomes sick.
Hape makes a lot of tables and chairs. But not only tables and chairs, He makes a gold necklace, too. He decides that He is going to give it for Queen, and make money.
This is success story. I think it is really nice!

Book-review 2-13

The missing coins!!

Bath is a very old city in England. It was a beautiful Abbey! Pete and Carla are students at Bath University. Pete likes to look at the beautiful old building, Carla likes to walk in the little back streets! She often finds pretty little shops there and goes into them.
It was a Saturday in summer and a hot day. There are a lot of tourists in the city.
Pete found the man who was playing the flute near the small shop. And there is his hat on the road to get some money. However, his playing was not very good.

After that, Pete and Carla went to shop which is old coins and stamps shop. There were old man and young women who were clerks. Pete wanted to see old coins and he'd like to collect!
The shop's old man and woman were not friendly!
So, Pete and Carla left the small shop and They went to Cafe!

As soon as, last old man spoke to them and He said that you are burglary!!
You stole my coins! But They didn't !!

In fact, young woman and the musician(he is playing the flute) stole those coins!!
They are really bad!!

I thought Pete and Carla are very kind!
It is really scary story!

Book review 2-12

I read this book that is ChangingPlaces.

Every morning, Hal gets up at seven o'clock. He feeds Freddie, his dog. He eats his breakfast. Then he gets on his bicycle and goes to work.
Hal works at the zoo. He works at the zoo. He watches the visitors carefully. They can look at the animals- but they can't go to near them or feed them. Nothing changes from day to day. 'Nothing exciting happens in my life,' thinks Hal. Sometimes at night, Hal has a wonderful dream. He is famous and he has an exciting life. Then he gets up in the morning and he is Hal again. Ont he weekends, Hal meets Sophie. Hal wants to marry her soon. This is Tim Hankins. Tim is a famous actor. 'I know that man,' people think, when they see Tim. They stare at him in the street. Sometimes they run after him. Tim does not have normal life and he is unhappy. For his next movie, Tim wears glasses. His face is very different in glasses. It is not Tim Hawkins' face and many people do not recognize him. Now Tim wants to wear glasses all the time.
Once morning, Hal gets up 'Today isn't different from yesterday to the day before that! Hal thinks. Then he remembers something . In two days, he must marry Sophie. He feels nervous.
When Hal gets to the zoo, a movie crew is there. They are making a movie- with Tim Hawkins! The crew are filming. Hal watches for two or three minutes. He is very excited.
Lather, Hal is eating a sandwich when Tim Hankins walks in. Tim stares at Hal, and Hal stares at Tim. ' what!' Tim says . Who are you?
I am Hal Tanner. Hal says Tim looks at Hal and thinks for a minute. I have an idea, Hal Tanner. Let's have some fun. Let's change places for the afternoon.
Hal thinks about this. Then he smiles. All right he says. He gives his clothes to Tim, and he takes Tim' clothes.

This story is really funny and interesting. Hal' s life change ! I think This is really happy thind for Hals!!

Book review 2-11

I read this book, it is "Sara says no!

There was a new man at the market. His name is Mister Fruit. His daughter is helping him.
her name is Sara. Mister Fruit is polite, friendly. Everybody likes Mister Fruit. And Everybody also likes his daughter Sara.
A schoolboy asks for one kilo of apples. Mister Fruit put some apple on the scales. The scales show one kilo and one hundred grammes. Mister Fruit takes one apple away. Now the scales show nine hundred grammes.
But Mister Fruit said that one kilo of apple! One dollar!! He takes one dollar from the school boy. Sara is watching her father. she saw everything. Her father did same thing again!
In the morning, evening. Sara's father is counting money. He is happy. But Sara is not happy. She was angry.
One day, An old man brings back some apples. One of his apple is bad. A girl brings back some Oranges. One of her orange was bad. But Mr. Fruit didn't listen about that.
so, Sara said father, you are dishonest!!!
After that, her father's shop was not popular. Finally Sara decided that she run her fruit shop!

This story is little short but, Sara is really nice girl!!

I read “Sinbad”

This story begins in old Baghdad, A rich old man is very ill in bed. He calls to his son, Sinbad. I’m dying, Sinbad, said the old man. You can have all my money, my son. But you must be careful with it. Please don’t die, father, said Sinbad unhappy. Sinbad’s father dies, and he is unhappy for a long time. But one day he thinks I am a very lucky man now, some beautiful things, and a big house. With father’s money, Sinbad buys new things to wear and expensive things to eat from the market. Every night. But after a year, Sinbad’s friends come to his house. They eat and drink all night. But after a year, Sinbad has no money. Every day angry shopkeepers come to Sinbad’s house. Where’s our money? They ask angrily. Sinbad goes to the market, and he sells his father’s best tables and chairs. With the money he buys some beautiful carpets. Next. Sinbad finds an old ship with a very old captain. There days later Sinbad is ready to leave Baghdad. He talks excitedly to bring back a lot of money. He the sailor spends many money at sea. He visits strange countries, meets some strange people and very frightening animals.

Finally, he returns home to Baghdad, an older and wiser man.

I have hard this title, but I have never read this story, so this is really interesting for me.

I read ' One way Ticket' !
This story, Tom Walsh had a lot to learn about life. He likes travelling , and he was in no hurry. He liked meeting people, anyone and everyone. He liked the two American girls on the train. They were nice and very friendly. They knew a lot of places. Tom thought they were fun. Tom certainly had a lotto learn about life.

This is a collection of short stories about adventures on trains. Strange, wonderful, and frighting things can happen on trains- and all of them happen here.

It is little difficult for me, but I enjoyed reading this one.

I read this book, This is Rip Van Winkle.
The catskill Mountains change color at different times of the year. Many people think that are magic mountains. It is 1769. In a village near the Catskills live a friendly man. His name is Rip Van Winkle.
The village children love him. He loves nothing all. But when the man of the village ask Rip for help on their farms, he always goes and helps them.
And when the woman of village ask Rip for help, he never says no. Rip is always ready to do his neighbours' work, but he never works on his farm.
Morning and night Mrs Van Winkle tells him that he is lazy.
One day, Rip leaves his wife at the farm. He calls his dog, wolf, and they go for a walk in the mountains.
When he goes down the mountain, Rip meets a stranger. The man has something on his back. The stranger isn't very tall. He is fat. His hair is wild, and he's wearing old dutch clothes. He want Rip to carry the barrel. Rip walks up the mountain with the man. Sometimes he carries That is barrel to help him. The stranger says nothing.
After a time, They meet a number of men in the mountains. They are all playing an old Dutch game, and wearing old Dutch clothes.
The man with the barrel gives them all a drink. Everything is quiet. Nobody smiles, and nobody speaks. When the men being to play again. Rip has a drink. He feels thirsty, so he drinks more and more. Soon Rip is tired. He eyes close, and he goes to sleep.
When Rip opens his eyes, it's a sunny morning. He gets up, Rip remembers his night on the mountain. He stands up, but finds he can't move very easily.
He finds his house with no windows or door! And where are his wife and children? Rip doesn't understand. Just then, he puts his hand to his face, and finds he has a long white beard!
He runs to the village inn. Rip doesn't know any of the people in front of the inn. He asks Does nobody here know Rip Van Winkle?
Yes. That's Rip Van Winkle, next to the tree. One man says.
Rip sees a younge man in his clothes. He became old man, and his wife died.

This story is really strange! But it is interesting!

momoko sakura

One of my favorite essayst is Momoko Sakura!
This picture is her Essay "Hitori zumou"
She wrote funny and crazy story, but I could learn many thing from this book, This is my favorite one.
She wanted to be cartoonist when she was younge. Her parents and sister thought Momoko can't do that.
But Her dream came true!!
I respect her! I have many her books!!!

Jo has boyfriends who is Dave. But sometimes she can't understand him.
Jo worked at rich house to clean them before. Her boyfriends asked her about rich house.
Few days later, her boy friends steal something at rich house,
he is really bad man.
And, he blackmailed her.
This is really scary story.

I read The phone rind, This story is about Cellphone.
Ben's first day at college, he was in the Cafe with his friends, Mikel and Lucy.
They were talking, then one girl was walking near them, and Ben thought She is really cute, and he was in love!! He wanted to talk her, but he didn't have brave to speak her. So, his Friends help him to see the girl. And They use their cellphone.
At, two o'clock, Ben's phone rung, his friends said 'she is in my English Class, her name's Lauren Taylor. He think It is really beautifully name.....
And she like teddy bear, Then he went home. his sister was in front of the TV.
So, He asked, do you have any teddy bear?
Can I have one for a week? His sister think he is crazy but she notice my brother was in love....
And, He take teddy bear for school in his bag.
In the morning, many student tough Why he has teddy bear? It is really strange...
But he didn't mind!!
Later, Ben's phone rung, His Friends teach many many information for him!!
Few days later, He has good chance to talk to her. And hopefully he date with her.
Actually, She also was in love for him!!

Book Review 2-04

I read thin book, this is The big bag mistate.

Gisela is going home ti Rio de Janeiro after a month's vacation in London. She live in an apartment in Reo with two friends. Her airplane leaves at five o'clock. It is one o'clock now.
Gisela puts her clothes and a manuscript in to a travel bag. This manuscript is very important to her. Richard is a student. He lives is England, he is going home. He finds his seat on the airplane. A pretty girl is sitting in the seat near him. Suddenly, Richado's bag falls on the girl. It knocks the book from her hand. He is talking about his time in England for her. But she didn't listen about his story. He talked and talk!!
She think he is really noisy!! Many hours later, the airplane arrives at Rio de Janeiro air port. Gisela and Ricardo go into the building and wait.
Gisela's bag is blue. And Ricard bag also same bag, then their bag was exchanged!
This is really funny book, but finally they will fall in love????

I read this Book, this is Kid Nap!!
Wow, This title sounds scary.....

Tom lives in America, near the town of Harpter who is working on comic strip. He need some idea about his job, so he think I have to go out and he will find new idea. That day, It was really cold, he need some coffee, he park his car and goes in to book store. Just then, Tom saw some white parer, it falls from a man's hand. Tom said him Wait, Wait!!! But the man doesn't hear him. Tom looks at the paper. It has map on it, so he think it is not important. He got a cup of coffee, and sit down at a table.Tom saw a woman with red hair at a table near him. He think that's interesting face. He would like to draw picture. And he spoke to her, then he falls map paper.
He noticed this is plane , the man wants to Kid nap!! The woman gives little laugh.
Actually Rite is also kidnapper!!!

This book is really really interesting!! Because, first She is nice. but She is one of kidnapper.
I will recommend this book my friends!!

I read this book, this is Starman.

The empty centre of Australia. The sun is hot and there are not many people. And when Bill meets a man, alone, standing on an empty road along way anywhere, he is surprised and worried.

And Bill is right to be worried. Because there is something strange the man he meets. Very strange...

This story is very strange... but it is kind of funny..
Next time, I will try to read more longer book.

Book Review 2-01

I read this book, this title is The adventures of tom sawyer. Tom Sawyer does not like school. He does not like work, and he never wants to get out of bed in the morning.
But he likes swimming and fishing, and having adventures with his friends. And he has a lot of adventures. One night, he and his friend Huck Finn go to the graveyard to look for ghosts. They don’t see any ghost that night. They see something worse than a ghost.
This is interesting for me, But it is little long.

I read this book!! This is 'The Ransom of red chief'

Bill and Sam arrive in the small America town of summit with only two hundred dollars, but they need more and Sam has an idea for making a lot of money!!
Their idea is Kid nap, when things start to go very wrong, both men soon regret their visit- and the idea.

Because, the kid is very wicked boy, they can't take care him.

This story is very strange!! And, I think the boy is quite bad. Him parents also think about him. I read this book easily, I could understand.

Adam Gray works in a bank. He doesn't like his job and he doesn't like Mr Smith, his boss.
He goes right and walks through the park. Suddenly, he find girl is attacked by having gun man. He helps her, and says ' come on. Run!!'

At the same time, Robber come bank and steal money.
Adam strike robber, they are bag changed!!
Adam has robber's bag, robber has Adam's bag!!
The robber noticed this is not my bag.
He decided to catch and recover his bag!!

Actually, The girl is actress and film. But he think she attacked.
They have to run away by robbers.
Finally, They survive, and the robber is Mr smith. He is Adam's boss!!
Adam become a actor.

This is very interesting story!! I can read easily, but this is very good!!

I read this book!!　This is ‘the battle of Newton road’’
This is the story of a road, and a battle. It is the story of Newton road.
Newton road is in an English town. Sally Robson lives there, near her school. She is a teacher. She lives in a small house, she likes Newton road.
One day Sally walking to her school. The school is in Newton Road too. She found placard which written something. ‘IMPORTANT’ ‘COME to the TOWN Hall’
Sally and neighbors are wording.
They went to there, one man spoke to their. He said, he is going to build houses for you, and build new road too.
Region person don’t agree!! They love there road!!
Finally, they can keep their house and road.I think everyone cooperate each other, we can get good result. Cooperation is very important!! This is very interesting story.

I read this book, This is ' Maisie and the dolphin' .

Maisie King lives in the Bahamas. She is thirteen years old.
Her mother and father are doctor for animal. They work at the Freeport Animal Hospital. The hospital is next to their home- a blue house by the sea. It is very old, but it is beautiful, Maisie loves it.

on Sunday, Maisie and grandfather often go out in his boat - the Warm Wind. Grand father is watching a big, expensive American boat and dolphin.
The boat' s going too fast. The driver can't see the dolphin. The boat hits the dolphin and drive away.
Maisie is very angry. she and her grandfather take the dolphin back to Freeport. Then she sees the big American boat. There's American in house with Dad. She think It's his boat.
American says her Dad, You want to give me $ 200,000 for the hospital and this house?
He want to build a big hotel here.

The dolphin is Strong and well again. He and Maisie are Friends.But, Ben has to come back see.
She is sad.
Ben give her something key. She thinks 'what is it?' She follow Ben under the sea.

After that. She found many coin.
Her father build a new hospital. They are happy.
He refuse that a American man wants to build new big hotel.

I think this story is good, because I like animal.
It is very interesting for me.
